Go Cougs!

We had such a fun time in Colorado! We love being able to go stay and play with Gary and Kellie and their cute kids! Sadly we didn't get any pictures with Kellie and the kiddos. We are so sad. But we love them so much and are so grateful for the nice hospitality they always show us!
The game was such a BLAST!
We had great seats at the game in the middle of all the Air Force fans.
The game crew:
Jeremy, Brielle, Jamesy, me, Ryan, Jerry, and Gary
It was so RAD!
After our victory the BYU football players walked around the whole stadium slapping the fans hands. James and Jeremy kept yelling 'GET THE UTES!'
All the cadets stand at attention waiting for the
game to start with the band playing All the cadets announced and marched out onto the field.
For me it brought a real sense of patriotism to the atmosphere.
I loved it!

Oh ... my big gun on my back in public, no big deal!

And our awesome ride to Denver.
A usual drive to Denver from Salt Lake, oh about 7-8 hours.
We set off at about 9pm on Thursday night.
Drive into a mean snowstorm where driving is at 20 mph.
Pull off to 'sleep' off the storm.
Usually sleeping anywhere is fine...
But after you chug a 5 hour energy shot, sleeping becomes only a mere thought.
Getting stuck on the freeway with 75 semis for 2 hours.
Almost running out of gas to stay warm on the freeway for 2 hours.
Going on back roads in no mans land to find Laramie.
Making it 12 hours later to a nice warm home in Parker, Colorado
The only thing that kept making the drive not so horrid, was the thought of a bowl of cereal.
And dearest Kellie had boxes, bowls, and spoons awaiting our arrival.
Our trip was a blast! We loved visiting with family and going to the game.
Jeremy and Brielle are awesome road trip buddies!

Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm glad the Cougars won. It will make a Utah victory that much sweeter on Saturday! Go Utes!
