Happiness

We do not find happiness, we MAKE happiness.

Our Uncle Gary sent us this great little story about President Spencer W. Kimball.

He simply stated to someone asking if they should stay in Montana or move close to BYU.

The man's family wanted to find happiness.

President Kimball replied,

"WE DO NOT FIND HAPPINESS! Heavenly Father put us here upon the earth with the primary commandment to make ourselves happy. Each person needs to take personal responsibility for happiness, which cannot be found in a certain location or as a gift from a certain person. The Church and the Gospel will guide us to fulfill that responsibility, but is our duty and always it takes personal labor and accountability."

This quote is so empowering.

It helps me feel like I can conquer the world!
