FIG Daddy/Daughter Dinner

When I was 8-11 we called it Activity Days.
Some wards call it Faith In God.
But we are cool so we call it FIG.

We planned a night where the girls could bring their Dad's to a nice dinner date.
They had learned proper etiquette and made them invitations to attend.
We had the boys passing out Italian creme sodas to all who started arriving.
The girls and Dads mingled and took photos in the photo booth area.
The night wouldn't have been as big of a success without these strapping young men to help.
You should have seen them in action.
They were on their game, polite, and had the girls feeling like a million bucks.
Part of the food prep we would do in the kitchen,
Then we would send the boys to serve the food, or collect the finished plates.
My favorite part was going around the table and hearing the girls introduce their Dads, or brothers. :)
The girls are so sweet and have such a lovely image of their date.
It was fun to hear what they came up with.
The photo booth was a hit.
I mean, elephant noses, mustaches, boas...
It doesn't get much better than that!
{Becky, me, Emily, Natalie}
And can't forget the leaders.
These ladies are awesome and it's been fun getting to know them better!
But best yet is serving these 8-11 year old girls.
We have about 18-20 girls, and they are so much fun!
I really lucked out in the calling department!
