Meet Grandma Joyce.
She is so sweet and amazing.
Both her parents passed away by the time she was 21 so she took upon the responsibility of raising her brothers and sisters.

She was a nurse for many years. She has four children and many grandchildren who love and adore this amazing woman.
She even commented that the cake was 'absolutely gorgeous'.
See...I told you she was sweet.
We all recall that the cake was anything but gorgeous.
But I just chalked that up for one more cake closer to being on Food Network.
Well... that is actually an understatement.
Grandma Joyce is James' hero.
He loves her more than anything.
She's one to look up to and strive to live like.
He's Scottish born.
African native.
He lived in Rodiga, now Zimbabwe, for 25 years.
He was in charge of the terrorist unit there.
Him and Jackie had to move to Utah because Mugabe
made living there so terrible.
One Sunday he took the kids on a drive through the jungle and started to get chased by elephants and got stuck behind some giraffes. True story.
When and if you ever get a chance to meet him,
ask him about his stories.
He is one amazing story teller!
And one great soul.
He doesn't know of our blog, but one day when he does
I hope he knows how much we love and admire him.
Especially because we promised not to go to
Alcatraz until he comes out to visit us.

You are sweet. Aunt Joyce is a sweet heart. She is such a strong woman given what she has been through during her life time.
